HISTORYGlobespun Gourmet is the trade name for our company, Essential Foods. In 1988 Jeff Fairhall started Essential Foods in a rented house with one goal in mind – replace the Ham sandwich with a wrap of organic beans, rice, tofu and vegetables. He proceeded to build Essential Foods into a thriving business. Two decades and a name change later, we are still crafting natural products with a reliance on organics. Essential Foods holds true to our mission to create natural foods with global flavors while treating our customers, employees and planet with the respect and care they deserve.Currently we are producing an array of all natural sandwiches, wraps, burritos, salsas, and dips. We also co-pack products for other companies. Our handmade tasty products create a better, healthier world every day and can be found across the West Coast.
